Adrian Morris (1989-2012)
Born on April 11, 1989, in Kingston, Jamaica, Officer Morris was raised in Laurel, Maryland, and obtained U.S. citizenship in 2009. Joining the police academy on January 19, 2010, following five years as a police explorer, he completed his training on September 20, 2010. After a brief stint in District I, Officer Morris transferred to Squad 29 in District VI.
Dedicating 2 1/2 years of service to the Prince George’s County Police Department, Officer Morris tragically became the 27th member of the agency to make the ultimate sacrifice. His passing marked the 52nd law enforcement officer to give their life in service to the profession within Prince George’s County, Maryland.
At the time of his untimely death, Police Officer First Class Adrian A. Morris was 23 years old, leaving behind his mother and eight-year-old brother.
